Here are the details about this Saturday's Pride Parade:

SATURDAY 6/12 - FLOAT BUILDERS

When: Meet at 9am
Where: Exeter Street, between Blagden Street and Boylston Street (closest T stop is Green line Copley)
What: All the materials will be there, so come with your creative genius and be prepared to get your feet wet.

SATURDAY 6/12 - MARCHERS & PEOPLE ON FLOAT

When: Meet between 10am and 10:30am (marches must be in place by 11am)
Where: Exeter Street, between Blagden Street and Boylston Street (closest T stop is Green line Copley)
Details: Please come with your ethnic costume (we might have some available if you need). You can either be on the float, or just march around the float. There will be one dragon head you can hold, the other big dragon head will be on the truck, we also have a rickshaw, as well as banners for MAP for Health, MASALA and QAPA to hold. We will be giving out safer-sex packets as well.

The rules that marchers need to know (from the Pride Committee) are:

1. No alcoholic beverages -- open or closed containers.
2. No stopping on at any time during the parade route (although people can join or leave the contingent).
3. No throwing items into the crowd (even beads) - handing out items is okay (the rationales is that people have been injured in other cities).
4. Follow instructions given by the Parade staff (these will also be communicated through our contingent marshals -- Jacob Smith Yang and Amit Dixit).
5. All participants must follow directions by members of the Boston Police Department.

SATURDAY 6/12 - CLEAN UP VOLUNTEERS

When: When the parade ends
Where: Boston Commons

So, that's all. We'll see you all on Saturday morning, and lets have a fun time!
