QAPA Connect Pumpkin Carving Party
QAPA Connect kicks off its first event this month!
We’ve introduced you to QAPA Speaks Out! where you can talk about anything and everything, from coming out experiences to why there aren’t more Asian and Pacific Islander (API) LGBTQ faces in the media. And now we give you QAPA Connect, your social connection within the API LGBTQ community. We’ll hit up the gay and lesbian bars and clubs, check out interesting exhibits at museums, dine at delicious restaurants, see live shows and concerts, and anything else you’ve been dying to do. It’s a great way to meet QAPA members while exploring all the cool things Boston has to offer.
Our first event will be a Pumpkin Carving Party (it is October after all!). Bring your own pumpkin (small to medium size suggested) along with any carving kits/materials you’d like - inexpensive carving kits can be found at the grocery store. Pumpkin carving can get messy, so leave your Pradas at home - but bring your creativity!
Non-alcoholic beverages and snacks will be provided, but please feel free to bring your own. As QAPA is a volunteer-run organization, we appreciate a minimum donation of $5 on the day of the event.
What: Pumpkin Carving Party

Where: please visit the QAPA Yahoo Group mailing list to receive the exact location

See you then!
